Leica M6 Film Camera Body RECENT CLA (#857) USED
An early-production Leica M6 from 1985, combining the classic handling, mechanical precision, and understated design that have made the M6 one of Leica’s most enduring 35mm rangefinder cameras. This example features the standard 0.72x viewfinder, desirable “Leitz” red dot, and “ERNST LEITZ WETZLAR GMBH” top-plate engraving associated with early M6 production. Its serial number, 1679857, falls within the 1985 production allocation.
Recently CLA’d by YYE in August 2026, this camera has been serviced for dependable operation. The rangefinder is clear with no bubbling or haze, shutter speeds are accurate, and the shutter curtains are free of holes. The camera is also fitted with plastic strap-lug protectors, which may have been added later or during a previous service.

Excellent condition with normal cosmetic wear from previous use. A complete CLA was performed by YYE in August 2026. The rangefinder shows no bubbling or haze, all shutter speeds are accurate, and the shutter curtain has no holes. Camera is fully functional and ready to shoot.
